Dr. Samuel Huron, professor in Design of Information Technologies at Télécom Paris. His research addresses how humans create visual and physical representations of abstract information to think, collaborate, learn, analyze, explore, and design new data representations, systems and information artefacts.
He will talk about data physicalizations, how to use these in learning, creativity, and self-reflection activities, and discuss the construction and rendering processes of physical data objects and experiences.
The talk is part of the visualization lecture series, and will be held online on Tuesday, October 11th.
